"Redemption Window" for Hill-Murray Chapel, Maplewood, MN, 14’x8’ x 6,’ glass, steel, limestone rock, 34 windows. This Window honors the loving memory of Anthony Garofalo.

3D window-sculpture has two parts: 34 exterior windows that angle outward from the building and interior sculpture with 10’ glass cross perched on limestone boulders. (This is the first 3-dimensional chapel window.) In conceiving “Redemption Window,” I had to make peace with the focus of the title. Is it the suffering or the promise that drives redemption? The answer is in the light.
